You wrote Saar Boubacar on every files. Some medias did the same (and still does, like L'Equipe), but his real name looks to be Sarr Boubacar.
Or to be more exact, Boubacar Sarr. According to Wikipedia, his first name is Boubacar and Sarr is in fact his last name (like the present Guinean player Bouna Sarr). But the journalists went wrong at his very begining in Toulon and stayed wrong all his french career long...
Oui  I know that THIS situation has some wrong features. And I've seen some hors serie books about football in France. 20 years ago. Yes, some of them say SARR Boubacar. Some of ! But I used to be agree with the regular newsapers 30 years ago. Just like to adopted standart ))))) Saar Boubacar. Let be this way... |

OK Your choice))) 15 years ago I was intoduced to Monsieur Johnny B-Foot. He had a small boutique of RETRO-presse a Bordeaux. Years later he disappeared somewhere... And this record was beaten by Luis Fernandez in autumn 2002 (Lens-PSG 3:2) - the match numero 212 for Luis Fernandez (also, as a coach)... But if You look through our database, Peyroche has 210 caps concret. Not 211 ! May be, the "official" statistics, including Michel Kollar, add to 210 one match more : Videoton-PSG (2:0), novembre 1984, which was INTERRUPTED because of the awful rain and REPLAYED on the very next day (1:0) ???  But... if THEY count this match for the trainer's statistics... What about the result, about the match, what about the players and the goals difference ? I DID NOT PUT this REPLAYED match in OUR STATS ! What to do ? If Peyroche 211, what does it mean for the rest of that match (16e de finale Coupe de l'UEFA retour 2:0) ? |

At the moment I am busy. Making a very big redaction of the russian language texts about PSG season-by-season history. That's why I ask from time to time the prononce of some names. To be sure extremely... Tonight just 2002/03 will be finished. |
